About Ray Evans

Ray Evans is not a pastor, priest, or biblical scholar. He didn’t attend seminary, doesn’t hold a degree in theology, or have a lot of university letters after his name.

He is just a man, called by God for a purpose.

After hearing the Lord’s voice on January 13, 1987, Ray committed his life to serving God.

He is a lifelong student of Scripture who believes that God’s Word is meant to be understood — not obscured by tradition or complicated by religion.

After confusion caused by conflicting teachings from the pulpit, radio, television, the Internet, and books, Ray stepped away from the noise of human opinion and devoted himself to prayerful study of Scripture.

His Spiritual awakening opened his understanding of God’s Word  —  revealing truth hidden for generations by the religious elite, preventing people from forming a personal relationship with God and keeping them in bondage to organized religion.

Ray writes with a straightforward but passionate purpose: to encourage others to seek truth directly from God and his Word — and to trust God above every human voice.



He created DesertStream Press in 1992 to spread the Word.
